First PUSO Tournament Match Set

Hello everyone!

 

The first match in PUSO Wrestling's Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Tournament has been set.  It is part of the Unang Tibok show to take place on Saturday, August 17th.  The venue is the Brawl Pit Bulusan beginning at 6pm.

 

Main Maxx will take on El Kapitunero in one of the four matches in the first round of the tournament. The winner of the tournament will become the inaugural Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship.

 

In order for a wrestler to win, he or she must win three matches to win the prestigious belt. 

 

This match will definitely be a competitive one with the speed versus strength angle.  

 

Main Maxx has been a singles and tag team champion with a previous organization.  He is very experienced and is looking to add another title to his resume. 

 

El Kapitunero has wrestled the best that Pinoy Wrestling has to offer.  This blogger has seen him win in at his first show at the PETA Center in December 2022.  Am looking forward to the match-up.

Unang Tibok Update #2

Hello everyone!

 

PUSO Wrestling's first show, Unang Tibok will take place on Saturday, August 17th, a little over one month away.  The venue is the Brawl Pit Bulusan, Quezon City, beginning at 6pm.

 

So far, the main event and the Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship tournament has been announced.

 

The main event will feature the "Pinay Vixen", Chelsea Marie vs. "Mr. Philippine Wrestling" Jake De Leon.  This is a return match from last month's Filipino Wrestling Night, also at the Brawl Pit Bulusan.

 

The tournament for the inaugural Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship will feature eight wrestlers.  The pairings have not been set yet but have been named.  They are Isaiah Valencia, Joya, Main Maxx, El Kapitunero, Super P., Joey Rosas, Aaron Liwanag and Nigel San Jose.  It is assumed that there will be four - first round matches in the first round.  When the pairings are announced, this blogger will update everyone!

Hardcore Forever Update

SETUP Thailand's next show, Hardcore Forever, will take place on Saturday, July 27.  The venue is The Circus Studio, G Village Bangkok beginning at 6:30pm.  Tickets are still available for the show.  Please visit the SETUP Thailand Pro Wrestling page on Facebook for more info.

 

There has been an update on one of the matches for the show.

 

Tanomsak Toba, a pioneer wrestler with DDT Japan will become part of, what's now, a Triple Treat Match.  It's SETUP Thailand Openweight Champion, Jonathan Johnson, Monomoth and Toba for the coveted belt.  This has the makings of being a superb main event!

Why No Interviews?

Recently, this blogger has been asked about why there hasn't been an interview done on this blog lately.  Will do my best here to answer this the best way possible.

 

First and foremost, there is a time difference from where I live in America to the Southeast Asia countries.  I would prefer, when visiting a country, to ask a possible wrestler and/or fan.  To me, its proper and I'm a little more comfortable doing it. 

 

Of late, there have been things that needed improving in the blog such as the content of the posts that are being delivered to the fans.

 

This blogger is hoping that on his next visit, that an interview or two will happen.  I cannot promise you, but there is a likelihood that it will happen.
