Hello everyone!

Anytime this blogger sees a story like this on social media, he is quick as possible to get it out.

Filipino Pro Wrestling has their weekend training session over the past weekend and were surprised by a special appearance.

'The Canadian Dragon' Zayden, stopped by to partake in some good ol' rasslin’ with the main roster and Academy trainees!

Zayden, as some Pinoy wrestling fans remember, wrestled with Philippine Wrestling Revolution in the 2017-2018 time frame.  He wrestled some of the best as well going up against championship holders such as Jake De Leon and Mike Madrigal.  Sources tell this fan that he was pretty good during his time there.

You never know what might happen at an FPW session.  A couple of weeks ago, Kojio Akumu, was at the center.  These are stories that are not only valuable, but priceless, especially to a young wrestler who is trying to learn the trade, and make the roster.

Soon, Filipino Pro Wrestling will be announcing their first show for the 2025 season.  In the meantime, please check out their FPW Astig Series 1 & 2 (from 2023 and 2024).  There are some exciting matches for everyone to enjoy.

FPW can be seen on social media outlets such as Facebook, Instagram and You Tube.

Here is a match that was on You Tube.  Thank you to Rommel for sharing this with me earlier!

Hello everyone!

Grapplemax Pro Wrestling Singapore and Malaysia Pro Wrestling have announced the return of the major show, Causeway Jam.  The event will take place on Saturday, February 22nd.  The location is the Grapplemax Studios beginning at 7:30pm.

Last year's event was SOLD OUT!  Already, a great show is expected with the following matches announced just a few hours ago.

Hotshot, The Grapplemax Openweight Champion will take on The Wonderboy from Malaysia Pro Wrestling.  Hotshot has been a successful title holder for over 450 days as of this post.  The Wonderboy, along with his tag team partner, Miles Karu, are the current SPW Southeast Asian Tag Team Champions.  Another belt would be a major feat for both The Wonderboy and MYPW.

There will be an international women's match between five time CWE Divas Champion, Divya and MYPW's Poppy!

Also announced is a battle for the Grapplemax Tag Team Championship.  Aussie Aussie Aussie (Shawn Phang and YC) will put the titles on the line against Ships Ahoy (Christian and Sarah Coldheart).

SPW Unchained Update #3

Hello everyone!

There has been some noise since the last SPW Unchained post from about a week ago.

One possible match is up for grabs as of this post. The Juicy Boyz (Miles Karu and The Wonderboy) have issued a challenge to Jack N' Cheese.  However, the SPW Tag Team Champions refuse to put up their titles for the upcoming show.  Two questions need to be answered here.  SPW GM, Carl Hella and Jack N' Cheese will need to come up with answers on this.  As soon as we receive an answer, we'll have an update here on this blog.

Also, at last November's, Crowning Glory, Bryson Blade defeated Ryan to win what was then, the 24/7 title.  As of the upcoming show, the title has been renamed the SPW Hardcore Championship.  With the Unchained show coming up, the Hardcore title will be contested going forward under no disqualification rules.

This will be the third version of the title (NBCB and 24/7).  Thus, Emman and Riz, along with the champion, Blade, will contest in an SPW Hardcore Title three way encounter.  What is interesting here is neither Emman nor Riz have ever won a championship.  Could there be a possible upset brewing?

Ringside tickets for the show are sold out as of this post.  However, for more information on the show, including remaining tickets, please visit the SPW Facebook page.  Thank you.

VPW Spring Bash Update #6

Hello everyone!

In our last VPW Spring Bash update, we shared the success of VPW's Tag Team Champions, Vung Tau Xperience.  The three time tag team champions are currently riding high on a three match winning streak.  The latest video shows that they are feeling very confident.

The last tag team win was against a team from Singapore Pro Wrestling's roster by the name of Jack N' Cheese (BGJ and CBK).

Well, coming up on Saturday, February 22nd, VTX will be taking on another team from Singapore.  They are the team of Mighty Mighty and Hunting Wolf Riz.  The challengers will. be more than ready, for VTX.  This is likely the first time that Mighty Mighty and Riz have teamed up though they've seen one another numerous times in an SPW ring.

If history is correct here,  it will be the fifth time overall that the VPW Tag Team Title is defended between the countries of Vietnam and Singapore.  Four of the five were defended at the VAIB Studio in Ho Chi Minh City.  Vietnam Pro Wrestling has won three of the four matchups.  The only exception was when the Big Bad Boyz (BGJ and The Eurasian Dragon) defeated The Classic Night in June 2023.

The team from Ring Of Rebirth would successfully defend the titles in Singapore that September against VPWs - Sid Nguyen and Khoa Truong.  The following month, back in Vietnam, the Big Bad Boyz would lose to VPW's Venomshank in a fatal four way match.

History is in VTX's favor.  However, this team is one not to be overlooked.  For more on the show, including tickets, please visit the Vietnam Pro Wrestling Facebook page.  VPW can be viewed on various social media platforms including Instagram and You Tube.  Thank you.
