The Yolo Twins Revisited

Hello everyone.

 

Last year, I did a feature on Filipino Pro Wrestling's best tag team, The Yolo Twins.  Yohan and Logan Ollores are the members of a great and cohesive team in Southeast Asia.  When having a chance to watch them back in August 2023, it reminded me of a tag team that I saw back in my youth.

 

Kinji Shibuya and Mr. Saito, a heel tag team in the NWA laurels in the San Francisco area was a very cohesive team as well.  The team never wasted a lot of time, tagged their partner often, and won matches quite often.

 

When I see The Yolo Twins, it is the same thing with one exception.  They have a lot more athletic and flashiness, unlike Shibuya and Saito.  Other than that, the way the team wins matches are very similar.

 

This fan would like to see The Yolo Twins face teams within FPW more.  Though Yohan and Logan can wrestle, and wrestle well in singles, if they aren't scheduled for a show, it feels like the fans are cheated.  

 

Hopefully this year, we will see them a lot more.  Perhaps, we might see a possible tag team tournament with a FPW Tag Team belts would be huge.  A lot has to do with the number of wrestlers in a promotion and this fan understands that. 

 

This fan sees a growth in tag team competition in all of  Southeast Asia.  It's great to see individual competition throughout the region.  Tag team matches are very interesting to any pro wrestling fan.  Here are some of the numerous tag teams throughout the region.
