Imabayashi vs. Lawin

Hello everyone.

 

Filipino Pro Wrestling's next show, FPW Astig, will take place this coming Sunday, July 13th.  The venue is once again the Baked Studios, Makati City, beginning at 2pm with the doors opening earlier (1:30pm ?).

 

In one of the Metro Manila Championship Quarter Final matches, Ralph Imabayashi will go "toe-to-toe" against Danger Rex Lawin.

 

This blogger, as well as the FPW fans, have seen the promos involving both men leading up to Sunday.  Definitely, there is a lot of intensity, you could say, on both sides.

 

This blogger has seen them on You Tube (pre Covid) with different promotions.  Also, this blogger has seen them once in 2023.

 

In August 2023, at an FPW Astig show, this fan saw Ralph for the very first time taking on Robbie Eagles in the main event.  It was one of the greatest matches (independent or above like WWE) that I've ever seen.

 

Later that year, in December, this fan, celebrating an early birthday, saw Rex Lawin defeat Ho Ho Lun in what may have been Rex's biggest win as a professional wrestler.  Today, Ho Ho Lun is a champion with Middle Kingdom Wrestling in China.

 

Both Ralph and Rex look at the Metro Manila Championship in a very important point in their careers.  Winning the title could possibly even look to greater things, like the FPW Championship, which is vacant right now.  Certainly, this match is definitely huge to both grapplers!

 

Three other qualifying matches will take place for the inaugural championship on July 13th.  They are.....

Duke Ortega vs, Proximo

Robynn vs. SIGMA's Jason Rex

Thiago vs. Mharckie
