Hello everyone.

 

Back on December 11, 2022, this fan saw his first show outside North America in Quezon City, Philippines.  It was MWF's signature show called Noche Buena.  That night, this blogger saw 10 great matches, something he never witnessed before.  The show was a little lengthy BUT it was, more than worth it!

 

I had a chance to meet, then wrestling fan, LegenDarius.  He was, and is, definitely great to meet.  Not to be critical here, but there are very little wrestling fans I know here in America that has the passion and knowledge that this star has.

 

We watched the show in it's entirety, went upstairs to a location and did a vlog interview, and then came back downstairs to meet numerous Pinoy wrestlers.  It was a day that both of us will always remember.

 

A lot has happened since 2022.  LegenDarius has done an amazing thing that, very few people that I know have done.  He has become a professional wrestler for an independent promotion, Filipino Pro Wrestling.  

 

Two months before meeting LegenDarius, FPW hosted their first show at the PMC Spotlight Theater in Circuit Makati.  The show was successful.  The promotion has done well and they continue running shows today.

 

While this blogger tried improving his blog skills, LegenDarius was working his way to becoming a star in the promotion.  When seeing him the following August in 2023, he looked very close to being ready.  It happened about 13 months later, at last year's FPW Unfinished Business.

A wrestler from a former promotion, now named Jason Rex, wrestled Dax Xaviera and came out victorious with the, then, managerial assistance from LegenDarius.  What I knew, and fans would soon learn, is there would be a formation of a group called SIGMA.  LegenDarius, would not only be managing, but also wrestling in singles and tag team matches!

 

When looking back over the years, I could definitely remember one manager who also wrestled.  That was WWE and AWA great, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.

 

This blogger has been fortunate to interview all three members and learned a lot from SIGMA.  They are a force to be reckoned with, not only in the Philippines. but all of Southeast Asia.  

 

LegenDarius has wrestled several times now and is successfully winning.  SIGMA with Jason Rex and AB3 are winning matches as well.  LegenDarius has also appeared on PTV Sports Network promoting previous and upcoming shows.

 

With all three wrestlers going well in matches, the September FPW show will definitely be exciting and entertaining.  Looking forward to it!
