Dexcon Pinoy Wrestling Weekend Results

Hello everyone.

Here are the results from Dexcon's Pinoy Wrestling Weekend of events.

From what this blogger learned, this likely was the greatest weekend ever for local pro wrestling in the Philippines.  Hopefully, the results are correct from what I received.

The event had a few surprises.  Long time wrestler, Saint John Martin would announce his retirement after Sunday's match with Dr. Gore.  Also, there were two birthdays that weekend with Mr. Gore and Chris Brookes.  August must be a great month for birthdays.

Also, just received a message reel that ASAM Steve made his return to Brawl Pit Bulusan as part of the Matchmaker Miguel's Mignificent Open.

Dexcon, once again, showed that they know how to put on a product!  It doesn't hurt when Chris Brookes and Takeshi Masada (Japan), Dr. Gore (Singapore), John Day (Great Britain), Miles Karu (Malaysia) and Shivam, Jonathan Johnson and The Kappas (Thailand) and AFAM Steve, now living in the Philippines, make appearances.  The three day event made it for a great weekend in Metro Manila.

Mr. Sy and Romeo did a great job with the Saturday interviews which kept fans on the edge of their seats.  There were the Meet And Greets on Saturday along with music on Friday event to start the weekend off right.

The photos and video from the three day event were tremendous.  Thank you to HanzelBee Photography, Delight 37:4 and everyone who took photos and video over the weekend.  Seeing this over several days makes this post much easier to do.  Thank you everyone!

The matches were on a mat format for two days and the wrestling ring on Sunday.  This blogger would believe for any wrestler, there is a difference with both formats.

The next two local pro wrestling shows happen to be on the same day, Sunday, September 14th.

Filipino Pro Wrestling's - Unfinished Business at 2pm at the Baked Studios in Makati City.

PUSO Wrestling's - Bakunawa at 6pm at the Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City.
