Hello everyone.
In the short time here in the Philippines, there have been many memorable moments from wrestling shows to actual Meet And Greets to meeting up with friends and wrestling fans over the five days.
One very important thing happened prior to the Filipino Pro Wrestling show, Unfinished Business, that this blogger would like to share, and to this fan, it's important.
It was extremely nice and appreciative that FPW allowed this blogger inside the event early before the show began. Saying hello to several of the FPW staff and wrestlers was a great experience in itself. Living in America, I hadn't been to one of their shows since August 2023.
While this fan was buying a signature SIGMA T-shirt, and by the way, it's a must buy for all of the FPW fans, right near me was a group of wrestlers that were going to take part in the show. It happened to be Team Grapplemax from Singapore (SPD, Hotshot, Big Dave, Xtian and Jullian Creed).
Following the sale of the t-shirt, humbly and being a little shy, this fan walked over to all five wrestlers and introduced himself.
All five welcomed me as if I was like a good friend. It was something I didn't expect, but was an experience not to be forgotten. This blogger mentioned to them that he would be visiting Singapore in 2026 sometime in the first half of the year and watch one of their shows (as well as possibly SPW and/or Ring Of Rebirth). Living in America, there is a possibility one promotion or two could be missed because of scheduling, but will try and work things out some way.
Back to Grapplemax, and with all five who spoke with me, it was a short, but great experience. All five wrestlers were very professional, engaging and wanted this fan to feel comfortable. I felt the same way towards them. Since they were preparing for a show, and knowing this as a blogger, they needed their time and space.
Team Grapplemax defeated Team FPW in the five-on-five elimination match on Sunday at FPW's Unfinished Business. The match was interesting and exciting. Hopefully, their time in the Philippines was a great one.
In the time this blogger has covered them, the promotion has always been great with me, and last Sunday was no different. Their shows have always been top notch when watching them on You Tube. Next year, this blogger is looking towards an opportunity in seeing them live. I cannot wait!
