Hello everyone.
Another Japanese pro wrestling promotion which I'm learning more of is Pro Wrestling Noah. A number of my readers, and wrestling friends talk about the promotion a lot. Also, the promotion has been in the wrestling news quite a bit lately, and that's always a good sign.
The company began in June 2000 due to a parting of ways from several wrestlers. Mitsuhara Misawa along with over 20 wrestlers departed All Japan Pro Wrestling and started a new company. Since the formation, NOAH has had working relationships with eight of the top wrestling promotions worldwide including WWE and New Japan Pro Wrestling. The company's headquarters is in Tokyo.
In the 25-plus years of the company, Pro Wrestling Noah has had over 2600 shows, roughly one every three to four days which is fantastic. And as I mentioned at the top, the promotion has been in the wrestling news lately.
Their most recent show, Star Navigation 2025, took place on Saturday, November 8th at Tokyo's Korakuen Hall, the mecca of pro wrestling in Tokyo.
Yoshiki Imamura defeated KENTA to win the GHC Heavyweight Championship. Also, Hank and Tank defeated Team 2000X to win the GHC Tag Team Titles. This occured in front of 1560 fans and streamed on Wrestle Universe. Imamura, Hank and Tank are very familiar to audiences in America as they wrestled with the NXT brand for a short time.
Over the months, and hopefully years to come, this blogger will continue to share Information on Pro Wrestling Noah.
