Hello everyone.
Since late 2022, this blogger (off and on) has followed podcasts throughout the world. Locally, I'm always on Talk Is Jericho since it is on while being awake.
However, every so often, I'll try and wake up early (3am or 4am) to listen to one great podcast out of the Philippines.
The team of Stan Sy, Romeo Moran, Chino Liao, Emile and Rowen are amazing wrestling fans who know their craft. More so, they are amazing people as well who have the passion and heart for pro wrestling locally as well as internationally. This blogger has been fortunate to talk with the group as well as learn a lot about pro wrestling, especially in the Philippines and throughout Southeast Asia!
I believe the start of the podcast went all the way back to April 2014 (per some notes this blogger has) when it was called the SGP Podcast. Here it is 956 episodes later, the group is stronger than ever.
The podcast stream is normally on Thursdays at 7pm local time (Philippines) though there are occasions when the day and time changes. However, if you are a wrestling fan, especially in the Philippines and throughout Southeast Asia, they are a must see and listen! The group talks about most everything whether its WWE, AEW, etc.
Also, The Wrestling Wrestling Podcast is in the Philippines Community. Whenever there are huge PLEs like Wrestlemania (that is coming up), SummerSlam, etc., TWWP is right there hosting watch parties at Skinny Mike's Sports Bar in BGC. If you've never been to one of these (unfortunately like myself), they are a must!
Cutting to the chase here, The Wrestling Wrestling Podcast was just ranked in the top 50 (#39 overall wrestling, #26 WWE and #7 comedy wrestling) per a group called MillionPodcasts. This is one amazing feat and milestone for this group.
