Hello everyone.
This blogger has been fortunate to see a few women Japanese wrestlers in his day. More recently, seeing IYO SKY and Asuka are the first that come to mind. They've brought excitement, athletism and energy to North American and worldwide wrestling shows.
Coming up on Sunday, September 14, PUSO Wrestling will be hosting a show at the Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City. Showtime is at 6pm.
A tag team of Yappy and Ancham from the promotion, Ice Ribbon in the Tokyo, Japan area will be part of what will be an exciting and historic show.
Yappy and Ancham recently won the International Ribbon Tag Team titles on June 21st at Kitazawa Town Hall in Tokyo. The two ladies are the 67th team to have won the belts. The first champions won the titles on 04 April 2007, the same day of the promotions's first show.
Recently, Yappy appeared at PUSO Wrestling's training session and am certain that the day went very successful. It's great to see wrestlers from other countries attend wrestling sessions. Recently, as well in the Philippines, several Grapplemax (Singapore) wrestlers who appeared at the Filipino Pro Wrestling show, appeared at an FPW workout to share information.
This blogger has never seen a Joshi pro wrestling promotion. However, this fan had a chance to view highlights of the Ice Ribbon show, Ribbon After The Rain on You Tube. You can say it was impressive how athletic, electric and tough the women are.
