Thank you to Bill Velasco of the Philippine Star and PUSO Wrestling for sharing this. Much appreciated!
Hello everyone!
Very recently, there was an article written by Bill Velasco of the Philippine Star newspaper. On several of this blogger's visits over the years, I've picked up the newspaper to see what's happening in the country. Because of my limited tagalog, it's nice to have an English, and good quality, newspaper to read over an early morning cup of coffee.
Bill did an excellent interview with three of PUSO Wrestling's talents. As some of you may know, PUSO Wrestling is the newest promotion, not only in the Philippines, but in all of Southeast Asia. The article gives fans a perspective of what pro wrestling is all about.
Over the past year or so, this blogger has seen several newspaper articles throughout Southeast Asian pro wrestling promotions. This is definitely important in every country throughout the world. Television, streaming services, podcasts, yes, even blogs, and more are nice. However, newspaper articles are every bit as good.
One thing that the readers on this blog must know is this. Southeast Asian Pro Wrestling is still fairly new in the region. The earliest, to my knowledge, that a pro wrestling promotion began was in 2012 with Singapore Pro Wrestling!
Thank you Bill and to the other newspapers over the region that have done stories such as this one. It is greatly appreciated in the pro wrestling industry everywhere!
