SPW Unchained Update #4

Hello everyone.

Since the last update, it was announced that the team of Jack N' Cheese (BGJ and CBK) were denied a rematch for the SPW SEA Tag team Championship that is held by the Juicy Boyz.

Jack N' Cheese will be facing an international team instead.  "The Australian Sensation" Craven and "The Middle East Ace" Shaheen will team up what appears to be for the very first time.

Craven has wrestled in an SPW ring before, and has faced BGJ in singles competition.  For Shaheen, this will be his first time at the Foo Chow Building.  He wrestles for the Dubai group, Wrestlefest DXB.  His last trip to Southeast Asia was at a PUSO Wrestling (Philippines) event in November.  He faced Jake De Leon and Shigehiro Irie from Japan in an exciting international three way match.  Remembering the reaction following the match, the Pinoy wrestling fans wanted both Shaheen and Shigehiro Irie back at future shows!

For Jack N' Cheese, a victory against two experienced international wrestlers will help them in getting back in the running for the SPW SEA Tag Belts.

Ringside tickets are sold out but most levels are remaining as of this post.  Please check the SPW Facebook for more information.  Thank you.

VPW Spring Bash Update #7

Hello everyone!

Vietnam Pro Wrestling's next event, VPW Spring Bash has signed some big matches up until this post.  However, the following match that has just been announced can be a Main Event anywhere in Southeast Asia!

Aiden Rex, one of the greatest, if not the greatest wrestlers to come out of Singapore, will be coming to Vietnam on Saturday, February 22nd.

His opponent will be "The Unstoppable Force" Ares in an International Singles match.

Aiden has the second longest reign as the Singapore Pro Wrestling Southeast Asia Championship.  He held the title for 721 days and defending it successfully 13 times!  Only Andruew Tang held the title a bit longer.

His opponent, Ares, is no slouch either, and not to be overlooked.  Ares is a two time VPW Openweight Champion.  The powerful wrestler is seeking gold once again.  A win over Aiden Rex could very well make him the number one contender for VPW's gold!

For more information on the show, including tickets, please visit the Vietnam Pro Wrestling Facebook page.  VPW can be viewed on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and You Tube.  Thank you.

Zayden At FPW's Training Session

Hello everyone!

Anytime this blogger sees a story like this on social media, he is quick as possible to get it out.

Filipino Pro Wrestling has their weekend training session over the past weekend and were surprised by a special appearance.

'The Canadian Dragon' Zayden, stopped by to partake in some good ol' rasslin’ with the main roster and Academy trainees!

Zayden, as some Pinoy wrestling fans remember, wrestled with Philippine Wrestling Revolution in the 2017-2018 time frame.  He wrestled some of the best as well going up against championship holders such as Jake De Leon and Mike Madrigal.  Sources tell this fan that he was pretty good during his time there.

You never know what might happen at an FPW session.  A couple of weeks ago, Kojio Akumu, was at the center.  These are stories that are not only valuable, but priceless, especially to a young wrestler who is trying to learn the trade, and make the roster.

Soon, Filipino Pro Wrestling will be announcing their first show for the 2025 season.  In the meantime, please check out their FPW Astig Series 1 & 2 (from 2023 and 2024).  There are some exciting matches for everyone to enjoy.

FPW can be seen on social media outlets such as Facebook, Instagram and You Tube.

Here is a match that was on You Tube.  Thank you to Rommel for sharing this with me earlier!
