Hello everyone!
Just to let everyone this blogger and wrestling fan met, I'm home safely and somewhat rested but still jet lagged from the flight. Also, catching up with everything that is going on in SEA Wrestling up to now! Will be caught up in the next 24-48 hours and have posted quite a bit today.
Got to see a little of two countries (Philippines and Thailand) and an airport (Singapore) during the 20 days in Southeast Asia. Along with this was five wrestling shows in 15 days, something that this fan has never experienced before. Was grateful for the opportunity, especially in this fan's old age! What was seen was memorable, unpredictable, sometimes funny and sometimes wild. With pro wrestling at any level, you never know what may happen!
Had a chance to see some great, fun and unpredictable shows, great fans from four wrestling promotions and a independent promotion, and several wrestlers from Grapplemax Pro Wrestling Singapore. Like the five wrestling promotional shows, Grapplemax was gracious with this fan and are a class act in the region. Looking forward to seeing them next year!
Also, would like to thank the pro wrestlers from Malaysia Pro Wrestling in Emman Azman, Jack Alexander, Syadal and Fienic Rose as well as Andruew Tang from Singapore Pro Wrestling. Emman, Jack, Syadal and Fienic Rose were great with this fan.
It was a great learning experience learning about Malaysia Pro Wrestling with all four wrestlers.
Though I didn't get a chance to meet Andruew, he is one of the major reasons that this fan follows SPW as well as SEA Wrestling....period. He is one of the major reasons that pro wrestling is in the region! Hopefully next time, I get a chance to meet him. Certainly, he's on the bucket list!
Also, this blogger would like to thank Red (FPW), Fabio (PUSO Wrestling), SJM (WUW Philippines), Pumi (SETUP Thailand) and reps from Dexcon - PH for the conversations and more during the visit/vacation to Southeast Asia. It has, and is always a great experience for this fan.
Each made certain that this fan was okay, comfortable and more. Those that wrestled were gracious and professional to this fan as well. A good number of people appreciated what is written here which tells me maybe that I'm doing something to help the industry.
Because of their passion and love for pro wrestling in the region, sports entertainment is in a better place right now. Everyone mentioned has made it much easier for this blogger to put together a blog that is as accurate and enjoyable to all. Though grateful for the feedback, the intent is to be more dedicated and to continue improving as a writer. There is still work to do.
As mentioned before, this blogger is aiming to see all the SEA promotions over the next few years. Hopefully, will make it to a promotion that hasn't been visited yet!
