SPW Mayhem Update #2

Hello everyone.

 

There have been a couple of matches added to the SPW Mayhem show scheduled for Friday, May 30th at the Foo Chow Building in Singapore.

 

Alexis Lee will be taking on the SPW Queen Of Asia Champion, Yuki Kamifuku for the title.  This match has one added stipulation.  If Alexis Lee loses, she WILL retire!  A victory will mean that she will be the first two time champion in the belt's history.

 

In the other added match, the team of Ho Ho Lun and Emman Azman will team up for the very first time.  Their opponents will be The Statement Andruew Tang and Shivam from SETUP Thailand Pro Wrestling.

 

Going back to the last SETUP show in Thailand in March, Shivam interfered in a match between Andruew Tang and Jonathan Johnson for the SETUP Openweight Championship.  Because of the interference, Tang retained the title.

 

Following the match, The Statement and Shivam, former rivals, would form an alliance known as Real Global Threat. Their intentions are a takeover of Southeast Asia wrestling.  Will that actually happen?

MKW Battle Of The Decade Update #2

Hello everyone.

 

There have been updates for Middle Kingdom Wrestling's upcoming show, Battle Of The Decade 2015-2025.  The pro wrestling event will take place on May 24th.  The venue is the East 3 Live House in Beijing, China.

Next Vietnam Pro Wrestling Show

Hello everyone.

 

The next Vietnam Pro Wrestling show, Saigon Slam, will take place on Saturday, April 19th.  The venue is the VAIB Studio D7.  Time for the show begins at 7pm.

 

In last year's show in May, there was the crowning of a new VPW Women's Champion as Yuki Kamifuku became the inaugural champion.

SPW Unchained Update

Hello everyone.

 

The show lineup for SPW Unchained has been announced.  This blogger would like to thank several wrestling fans who DM'd me on this since the last post.

 

The show will take place on Friday, March 7th beginning at 7:30pm at the Foo Chow Building in Singapore.

 

The show will feature several new talents from other promotions for the first time.  They are SETUP Thailand's - Jeney.  The Middle East Ace, Shaheen from WrestleFest DXB will be at the show.  Dragon Dia from Dragongate will appear.  Finally, Craven, a freelance wrestler from Australia will be at the event.  Craven has wrestled in several Australia shows including Pro Wrestling League and Southern Territory Wrestling.

SPW Champions Never Yield 3 Results

Hello everyone!

 

Here are the results from Singapore Pro Wrestling's event, SPW: Champions Never Yield 3. The event took place on Friday, January 10th before a sold out crowd at the Foo Chow Building in Singapore.

 

The event was "wild" and entertaining from the videos seen.  Also, the island had rain, am told, the entire day.  Despite the heavy traffic in the area, the show went off really well.  Thank you to SPW, the staff, performers in and out of Singapore, and the fans for a great and memorable evening.  Also, thank you for providing the results.  The next SPW show, am told, will be in March.

SPW: Champions Never Yield 3 Update #1

Hello everyone!

 

Since the last SPW post, there are three matches that have been added to the Champions Never Yield 3 show.

CK Vin, the SPW Singapore Champion, will face Black Arrow in a rematch.  Black Arrow is invoking his rematch clause.

 

The Juicy Boyz from Malaysia, who recently won the SPW SEA Tag Team Titles from the Horrors in Malaysia Pro Wrestling's last show, will put their titles on the line.  Jack N' Cheese, who won the number #1 contenders match at Crowning Glory, will be the opponents. Jack N' Cheese recently wrestled in a Vietnam Pro Wrestling event in early December.

 

Finally, Yuki Kamifuku, the defending SPW Queen Of Asia Champion will face former champion, Alexis Lee.  If Kamifuku retains the title as of December 29th, the match will be for the coveted title on January 10th.

Middle Kingdom Wrestling Championship Supercard Results

Dexcon Event Update #1

Next month, on October 12th and 13th, Dexcon will be putting on a two day show.  Both events will take place at the Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City.

 

On Saturday, Dexcon and Dr. Gore will present Graveyard Shift beginning at 7pm.  

 

On Sunday, Jam Of the Joshis will take place at 6pm.

 

Two women's matches will take place on the Sunday show so far.

 

Yuki Kamifuku, the SPW Queen Of Asia Champion, will take on PUSO Wrestling's, Chelsea Marie, the main event winner in the recent Heart-2-Heart show!  Also, Yuki recently won the Vietnam Pro Wrestling women's inaugural title last month in Ho Chi Minh City and will be bringing the belt as well. 

 

Also, Alexis Lee, the CWE Vixen's Champion will take on Puso's Joya in an International Dream Match.

The Queen Of Philippine Wrestling At The Upcoming Show!

The Queen Of Philippine Wrestling, Crystal, will appear at PUSO Wrestling's Unang Tibok show.  The event will take place on Saturday, August 17th, 6pm at the Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City.

 

Currently, Crystal is in preparation for a championship title match in China this September. She will be challenging for the SPW Queen Of Asia Title against the champion, Yuki Kamifuku.  All the best to Crystal on the upcoming match.

Middle Kingdom Wrestling will be holding their next, and premier show soon.  MKW Championship Supercard From Shanghai will take place on Saturday, September 14th beginning at 7pm.  The venue is the Bandai Namco Shanghai Base.

Results From VPW Saigon Slam Show

Hello everyone!

 

Here are the results and recap from TJ from Vietnam Pro Wrestling's last show, Saigon Slam.  The event was held on Saturday, May 4th at the VAIB Studio.

 

- Shota defeat Long Xiumin. 

 

- Classic Night defeat Vortex Rebellion. 

 

- Phong Tran open challenge and we can see the "debut" of Jimmy A.G aka formerly Rykioh The Vinh. Jimmy A.G defeat Phong Tran. After the match, Damian Wolfe asked Phong why he lost so much, especially lose to the countrymen like Jimmy A.G and asked him for the reunited of VTX. Phong Tran just leave the ring with his confusion.  And forgot to mention Jimmy A.G lost his memory and fans chanting Rykioh

 

- Khoa Truong defeat Chi Bao in the loser leaves Vietnam. Chi Bao had to leave Vietnam, The British Horror plan to "celebrate" but Khoa Truong was questioned he tried to cost Khoa Truong a match. Khoa Truong is snapped and attack British Horror. Khoa Truong challenged British Horror in a Devil's Playground Street Fight match in Ultimate Collision (8th June).

 

 - Ares defeat Hy Draco by the betrayal of Draco's manager, Phuong Nam. Phuong Nam's right now the manager of Ares. 

 

- Venomshank retain the Tag golds by defeating Saigon Hunters. Sid asked Rocky for a challenge of VPW Openweight Championship match at Ultimate Collision. 

 

- Yuki Kamifuku defeat Alexis Lee to make a history of VPW as she's the first ever VPW Women's champion.

 

Thank you TJ, as always for sharing the results.  The next VPW show will be Ultimate Collision on Saturday, June 6th at the VAIB Studio.

 

Rocky Huynh will be putting the VPW Openweight Title up against Sid Nguyen.  The two have battled for the belt before and Sid is looking to take the title away from the champ.

 

Also, Khoa Truong will take on former tag team partner, The British Horror in a Devil's Playground Street Fight.

SPW Viva La Lucha Results

Here are the results from Singapore Pro Wrestling's show, Viva La Lucha.  It was SPW's 11th anniversary show.  Congratulations on the milestone and hope the promotions continues another 11 years and beyond!  The event took place last Friday, November 24th.

PWI's Women's 250

The January 2024 Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Women's 250 issue is now out online and to the public.  WWE's Rhea Ripley is the number one women's wrestler on the magazine's poll.

 

This blogger was skimming through the magazine and it was a welcome sight to see some women's names from Southeast Asia that are more than deserving.  SPWs - Alexis Lee, Yuki Kamifuku and Yappy were the recognizable names that I saw there.  However, after looking through the list several times,  there was a glaring omission.  The omission is Crystal with the Manila Wrestling Federation.

 

This blogger knows it's difficult coming up with a list like this.  Seeing the men's list, there was a lot of grumbling going on there.

 

However, Crystal has had two titles in 2023 in the MYPW Wrestlcon Championship and the APAC Women's Title.  She has faced the top competition in the Southeast Asia region this year.  If I was putting this list together, Crystal would very easily be on my list.

 

The names I mentioned above deserve to be there.  However, Crystal should be joining them!
