Singapore Pro Wrestling's Next Show

Singapore Pro Wrestling will be having their next show on Friday, January 19, 2024 with the event SPW: Champions Never Yield 2.  The event will take place once again at the Foo Chow Building beginning at 7:30pm.

 

Here is the jam packed lineup for the show as of this post.

 

Aiden Rex vs. Big T vs. Seigo Tachibana for the SPW Southeast Asia Championship.

Mizuki vs. Alexis Lee in a #1 Contenders Match for the Queen Of Asia Championship.

The Horrors vs. CDK (Part 2) for the SPW SEA tag Team Championship.

Shivam vs. Black Arrow (Part 2) for the SPW Singapore Champioship. 

The Statement - Andruew Tang vs. Kuroshio.

The Midnight Bastards will be in action against an opponent to be named.

Filipino Pro Wrestling Notes

Wanted to share some info regarding Filipino Pro Wrestling for this next post.

 

First off, this blogger would like to thank Red Ollero, the MWF staff and the FPW locker room for a successful year one of FPW Astig.  I had the opportunity to watch all the episodes of FPW Astig like all of the fans on You Tube.  It was well produced and really enjoyed the commentary of all the matches.

 

Certainly, seeing how the FPW Championship unfolded was really cool.  Congratulations to Mike Madrigal on winning the first FPW Championship.  Also, congratulations to everyone on the FPW roster for making season one a successful one.  I feel, along with Red, the FPW locker room, staff and the majority of fans, that Filipino Pro Wrestling is cautious and doing things the right way.

 

Seeing the last FPW Astig show in August was special for this fan.  The matches were exciting, particularly the Mike Madrigal-Duke Ortega and the Ralph Imabayashi-Robbie Eagles matches.  Definitely, the show was entertaining and important, especially when earlier in the week, the pro wrestling world lost two iconic wrestlers.

 

I'm told that Filipino Pro Wrestling will resume likely in February 2024 with another series of shows.  I don't want to mention the date until told to.  Hopefully, the FPW and Pinoy wrestling fans will look forward to another season of exciting action.

SETUP Thailand's Next Show

SETUP Thailand's next show will take place on Saturday, January 20th.  The event is called Bangkok Showdown and will take place at The Circus Studio beginning at 6:30pm.

 

Here is the lineup of matches so far....

 

Shivam (C) vs. Skyler for the SETUP Thailand Openweight Championship.

 

CDK (Chris Brookes and Masa Takanashi) will put the IWA Tag team Championship on the line in a three way against St. John Innocent College and The Good Deal.

   

WOMEN CHAMPIONSHIP FOUR WAY MATCH

Matcha vs Jeney vs Mefisto (C) vs Emi Sakura.

 

 

BEST BROS (Mei Suruga & Baliyan Akki) will be in action.

 

 

Chris Vice will put the Zero-1 World Heavyweight Championship up against Jonathan Johnson.

 

 

The Statement - Andruew Tang will take on Monomoth.
