Wrestling Show Preparation

In various countries, there are ways that promotions prepare for wrestling shows.  Wrestling rings are one of them.

 

Some of this is similar to my experiences of preparing a track for another sports entertainment in North America known as Roller Derby.

APAC Wrestlelegion Update #3

Hello everyone!

 

APAC Wrestling's next show, Wrestlelegion, will take place on Saturday, July 20th.  The venue is the WNZ Arena, Spacerubix, Puchong beginning at 8pm.

 

There has been one enormous match added to the show that this blogger just learned.

 

Filipino Pro Wrestling Champion, Mike Madrigal will face NYC from Ring Of Rebirth (Singapore) and local stars, Big Eddie Emil and Mick Mercer in a four way match for the FPW Championship.  These type of matches always reduce the champion's odds.  However, I would never count out a champion, especially one of Mike Madrigal's caliber!

Unang Tibok Update #3

Hello everyone!

 

PUSO Wrestling, as been mentioned over the past couple of weeks, will be having their inaugural show. Unang Tibok, on Saturday, August 17th beginning at 6pm. The location is the Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City, PH.

 

Up until this post, there will be a Main Event match and four quarter final matches of a tournament.  The tournament of seven matches overall will determine who will be the first Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Champion.

 

There is one additional match that has been added to the show.  The Jun Capilos Jr. Battle Royal, an over-the top elimination battle royal will feature six wrestlers, all capable of winning the event.  

 

This blogger knows the family from a couple of shows last year.  Jelson and his two daughters have always been supportive in the short time we've known one another.  Thank you to the Capilos family who has supported shows and Pinoy wrestling in general!

 

The wrestlers involved in the match are Fabio Makisig, Patricia Ligaya, Dabid Ravena, Ken Cifer, Danny Zamora and Brother Benny.

Grapplemax: NWE Open House

Grapplemax Pro Wrestling Singapore will be having another NWE Open House this coming Saturday, July 20th, 7pm at the Grapplemax Studios.

 

The main event match is a special one.  Grapplemax will be bidding a temporary farewell to Nathaniel and Tydus as they head off to serve the nation! Though they have shared the ring together, we’ve never seen them on opposing teams, till now.

 

 

For their farewell match, they will each partner with an established Grapplemax tag team star - Tydus and YC vs Nathaniel and Shawn Phang. Yes, you read that right!  Aussie Aussie Aussie will also be in opposing corners for the first time in their Grapplemax career!  Yet another history-making moment at Grapplemax NWE Open House.
