FPW Secret Show At The Secret Update #1

Hello everyone!

Since the last post about FPW's Secret Show, there have been, not one match, but two matches added for the show!  The blogger loves what he' s seeing!

The first match features the great LegenDarius going up against Cali Nueva.  This IS the Main Event of the program.

LegenDarius will make his singles debut AND in a main eventer!  This blogger has only viewed clips of him since his tag team win with Jason Rex last October!  The group SIGMA has done very well since the formation last year!  Along with their newest member, AB3, SIGMA is predicted by experts to make a lot of waves at FPW shows in 2025!

Cali Nueva has gone to singles matches from tag matches  of late.  Ranked number five in the latest FPW Power Rankings, he lost to Quatro in a Triple Threat Match at the October show last year.  So, it will be interesting whether or not he can get back into the win column.

The second match announced is AB3 (Alexander Belmonte III) against Sam Baltazar in singles action.  AB3, as mentioned earlier, is the latest member of SIGMA.  Technically, he was on the losing end of a tag match last October against LegenDarius and Jason Rex.  It was at the end of the match when AB3 joined forces with SIGMA in a surprise development.

Sam Baltazar is someone I've seem live once and that was back in August 2023.  His last match was a good one last September against Duke Ortega, a top talent in FPW.  Mr. High Altitude was definitely flying in the two matches mentioned and is capable in doing it again!

This blogger didn't mention this in the last post but this is FPW's first ever dojo show.  Once again, the show location is 2F Kowloon House, Matalino Street in Quezon City.  Time is 2pm.  Ticket price IS pay-what-you-can.  For more information, please visit the FPW - Filipino Pro Wrestling AND Filipino Pro Wrestling Official Facebook pages!  Thank you.

Filipino Pro Wrestling Power Ratings

Hello everyone.

Filipino Pro Wrestling announced a few hours ago, what appears to be their first FPW Power Ratings.  This is something similar to what Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine does once each issue.

Since this blogger has not been to an FPW show since August 2023, and has talked with various fans who have been to FPW shows, FPW appears to have this correct.  Jeff Cobb, the FPW Champion, should be automatically number one.  If my math is correct, Quatro was 4-1 overall (including tag matches) while Mike Madrigal was 3-2 overall (including tag matches).  Some people may feel that Mike should be number two because he lost to someone outside the promotion.  This fan is mixed on this issue.

Chino Guinto, Robynn and Cali Nueva round out the top five contenders for the title.  Duke Ortega, in my mind, should be considered in the top five as well.  Again, this is a judgment call.

One day, and hopefully the roster will get bigger, this blogger would like to see The Yolo Twins mentioned more.  They are a great team with great chemistry.  Seeing them back in 2023, they are the premier tag team in all of Southeast Asia!  Will write more about this team in the weeks to come!

APAC Rage In A Cage Update #1

Hello everyone!

APAC Wrestling (Malaysia) has their next show, Rage In A Cage on Sunday, February 23rd.  The location is The Cage, Lalaport in Kuala Lumpur.

The APAC Women's Champion, Nor Phoenix Diana, will take on Cassidy Knight in a return match from last November's show, APAC New Chapter.

The rules are different this time.  The rules for this match are the following: Victory can only be achieved by pinfall, submission or forcing your opponent out of the cage.  Escaping the cage on your own means being defeated!

Also, there was a match last night between Serigala and Double K.  This fan doesn't know who won but the match electrified the fans in attendance.  The event was the Samarahan Muay Thai Challenge 2025 in Kuching, Sawarak, roughly 1000 kilometers from APAC's home base in the Kuala Lumpur area.

For more information on the upcoming show including tickets, please visit the APAC Wrestling Facebook page.  Thank you.
